| The Classic Jaguar Association has enjoyed a long history of holding a small, convivial swap meet for members and friends. This year we would like to open up this unique event to owners, enthusiasts, and vendors of all classic British marques. Many of our members belong to multiple car clubs, and our Jaguar motorcars share with other British marques a common bond with many interchangeable parts, tools, etc. Let’s all clean out our garages, bring our old parts as well as our wish lists, and make this a truly unique event. CJA will provide coffee and donuts. |

Lodging: A block of rooms is reserved at attractive prices. The block is being held until March 23rd. Be sure to say that you are with the Classic Jaguar Association.
Schedule of Events:
April 23
- 5:00-7:00 pm: Cocktail reception in Don & Ann Becker’s room. Room number to be announced. (We hope this is not a surprise to Ann.)
- Dinner on your own.
April 24
- 7:30 am: The Dawn Patrol fires up the old engines and proceeds to breakfast on the embarcadero. All early risers are welcome. (This activity has, in the past, made early risers out of the late risers. Varooooooom!)
- 9:00 am: Dawn Patrol returns to pickup late risers for a tour up the coast to Ragged Point for lunch.
- 11:45am Arrive at Ragged Point for lunch (See
Sustenance and Such for menu and prices.)
- The afternoon is free. Shop in Cambria, Back to take a nap. We can probably set up a short wine tasting tour if there is interest.
- 6:00-7:00 pm No host cocktail party on the patio next to the Cayucos Room.
- 7:00 pm Buffet dinner in the Cayucos Room.

The next Western States Meet will be held at Santa Maria, California April 26-30, 2010, hosted by our Jaguar Owners Club. Santa Maria is in the heart of California’s Central coast wine country, with easy access from the north, south, and east. It is known as California’s Sweet Spot for its wonderful strawberries. Headquarters will be the historic Santa Maria Inn, where Hollywood stars would stay on their way to Hearst Castle. On Tuesday, the 27th, we will hold a JCNA-sanctioned concours at the city’s Waller Park, with the awards dinner that evening. On Wednesday, the 28th, we will rally or tour north to Hearst Castle. The route will take us through quaint Morro Bay and Cambria. After lunch, we have tour times reserved at Hearst Castle. After the tour you will have some further time to explore areas such as San Luis Obispo. That evening, enjoy dinner at the Pelican Inn on Pismo Beach as the sun sets on the Pacific.
We will slalom away Thursday morning at the Santa Maria Fairgrounds near the Santa Maria Inn. Box lunches will be provided for everyone to enjoy at your location of choice. The afternoon will be devoted to a drive through the central coast wine country; as seen in the movie Sideways. You are free to visit some of California's outstanding wineries, enjoy Solvang (Denmark west) or even visit a lavender farm.
On Thursday evening, you will have a chance to dine Old-Hollywood style at the Santa Maria Inn. You may encounter Marilyn Monroe or Clark Gable. Dress as your favorite Hollywood icon. Who knows, you may win an OSCAR!

2010 CJA Spring Meet |
| |
The Classic Jaguar Association will hold our 42nd annual Spring Meet at the beautiful Inn at Morro Bay on April 23-24, 2010.
We have had several great Spring Meets at the Inn in the past, and they have been very accommodating to us for 2010 by actually reducing the room rates from what we paid in 2007!
This will be the weekend immediately preceding the Jaguar Western States Meet that will be in nearby Santa Maria that starts on Monday April 25. |
